Kathe and John went to a Meetup.com event tonight, where members were invited to bring their crafts and work on them sociably. We took our sweaters and did long-deferred maintenance on them, and talked for a couple of hours with the others, some of whom we had met before.
On our way to the meeting, we stopped at a store to buy some food items to share. A girl of about fourteen approached us and said that she and her mother liked the sweaters. We thanked her, gave her the address of this blog, told her we were going to a crafting night, and complimented her necklace.
